Great Lakes Rabbit and Cavy Shows intends to hold the 2007 ARBA National Convention in Grand Rapids, Michigan from October 14 to October 18 at the newly opened, state-of-the-art DeVos Place. Grand Rapids offers the ARBA membership the combination of DeVos Place surrounded by a visitor friendly downtown.
Grand Rapids has four museums, including two within walking distance from DeVos Place. There are over 50 restaurants and nightclubs located in the downtown area with other entertainment available at Van Andel Arena and DeVos Performance Center. A beautiful riverwalk runs adjacent to DeVos Place and is highlighted by a fishladder. The city has five malls around town for those who like to shop. In addition, a number of other attractions such as Lake Michigan are close by.
